A Kama is a Japanese sickle used as a weapon. It has a short handle and a sharp beak that inflicts damage.
Overview[]
Both Fū and Ao have been seen throwing a kama at an opponent. Hidan carries a gigantic Triple-Bladed Scythe. There is also a variation of the kama: a kusarigama, which has a chain attached to it for increasing its attack range.
An unnamed Konoha shinobi used an unusual one against Pain's Deva Path, though it was deflected by Almighty Push. This one was fully compactable so that it could easily be carried on ones back, and the blade could be thrown at an enemy while still attached to a chain.
